Tom Hardy, the man who can pretty much do anything and we'd love it, is set to star in a new movie called "Havoc" directed by Gareth Evans.

If You don't now who Gareth Evans is we aren't surprised. He hasn't been around long but has some impressive early career credits. Most notably "The Raid" in 2011 starring Iko Uwais as a SWAT team member trapped in a high rise with ruthless mobsters out to kill him. If you haven't seen it we suggest you finish reading this, put down your phone and watch it. Made a tiny budget of just $1.1 million it managed to secure future sequels and even managed to get an 86% on Rotten Tomatoes which is not easy to do.

As we know, Tom Hardy is good at picking a role, not like your usual action star who will turn up, throw a punch and get paid...*cough* Bruce Willis *cough*.

Being a Netflix movie and the way the world currently is, this has the potential to be a record breaker. Tom Hardy has some serious star power and could bring audience's in from different streaming services to watch this. Netflix have a great track record of original content and they only seem to be getting better with more money being thrown at the company.

Details are scarce but here's a little run down of the synopsis.

Hardy's character saves a politician's son from a drug deal gone wrong, in the process he uncovers a conspiracy engulfing the entire city.

Sounds fun...

Hardy will be seen reprising his role as Eddie Brock in Venom 2: Let there be Carnage later this year.
